We had a big leap in progress today! One of our investigators committed to a baptismal date him and his mom set! He's only 9 or 10 and we've been teaching him for a while now and he's on track to getting baptized on the 28th of May! Super exciting, and we're confident in the next transfer we'll be able to get a couple more baptismal dates and possibly even baptisms for a couple of our other investigators.
I haven't had too much terrible food but one Sister served us this stuff called cocoa rice. It's pretty much rice mixed with brown sugar and milk. The Polynesians love it, but it's not that great. Another funny thing about Polynesians is their slang. They use words like "flash" instead of awesome and "far out." Something else they do is instead of saying things like "sweet as sugar" or "cold as ice" they shorten it to "sweet-as" or "cold-as", etc. Kind of funny because one of the counselors in the bishopric is Mauri so he says it a lot and a high councilor spoke in sacrament meeting a couple weeks ago and said "cool-as" or something in his talk. A lot of the missionaries say it too just because it's the culture but I've never been super keen in immersing myself in "mini-cultures."
I went on trade-offs with one of the Zone Leaders on Friday. His name is Elder Myers, and he serves in an area called Redcliffe. He's really cool and funny, he's from Bountiful Utah and only has one transfer left. Had a busy day with him teaching one investigator who has a baptismal date about the WoW and Tithing and a new investigator about the Restoration. We did some door knocking too. The flat that the zone leaders stay in they share with two Elders from our district, Elder Clawson from Preston Idaho and Elder Bodeeletkasem from Thailand. Both of them are really great guys. Me and Elder Clawson are pretty friendly and I can't remember how it came up but the night I first went to the flat we were talking a little about Fusion Frenzy which is this game on the Xbox that I used to play as a kid and apparently he had played it a lot too. But yeah this is also the last transfer for the President Henderson so we'll be getting President McSwain here too. Plus Elder Anderson from the Twelve is coming on a tour of the mission in a couple weeks so I'll probably get to shake his hand or something since he'll be speaking to the mission. We've had to memorize the Living Christ because President wants us to recite it for him. So yep that's is for this week, love you all and thanks for the emails!

ps I'll attach some pictures of the ANZAC parade that came around outside our flat.
