quarter done
Not that I'm constantly dwelling on how much time I have left, but I realized I'm at 6 months in already! I guess when I look back on all that's happened, it's gone by about as fast as I expected it to, but as long as it's not going at an agonizingly slow pace, I'm good. Trying to enjoy the time I'm on my mission can be hard sometimes, when I think of the fun things waiting back home
(LIKE CAPTAIN AMERICA CIVIL WAR) so I remind myself of the not-so fun things I'd have to be doing, like working, or paying for things, and not being in Australia, and it seems to work!

No silly stories this week, other than one where we were door knocking and we talked to this girl for a little bit, she wasn't interested but we offered to do service for her and went on our way, about 15 seconds later I realized I had asked her if we could give her a "hand with anything" and that she was missing an arm. I felt super embarrassed but hopefully she didn't get offended and realized I was just using an expression. Yikes.
Man, Wednesday we were talking to this one guy who had this belief he basically made up from watching Passion of the Christ, and said that Jesus Christ wasn't supposed to die, that he was meant to live forever to bring immortality into the world, it sounds lame at first but he actually started using scriptures and things to back up his claim, it kind of upset me but I didn't get mad or anything I just testified, which is what you need to do, as well as use scriptures about it.
Later that day we tried to get approval from our investigator's mom to get baptized, she's not so sure about it but Elder Hausia told her about how his dad had died since serving his mission but he didn't go home because he knows how true the gospel is, that made her cry but more importantly it made her feel the Spirit. I hope. Later that night we bought some M&Ms and surprised our WML with them, because he's been super swamped with work and everything being a teacher.
Yeah, those are the highlights of the week, wish you all well!
